FOREWORD

This symposium on Children’s Mental Health: Addressing New Challenges brings together researchers, academicians, medical professionals, allied health practi-tioners, and adult caregivers to critically examine the evolving landscape of child and adolescent mental health in the face of contemporary societal, technological, and environmental pressures.

It aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration by exploring innovative strategies for early detection of developmental delays, neuro-diversity, emotional regulation, and behavioral issues such as screen addiction and selective eating. Emphasizing evidence-based, neuro-affirming, and inclusive practices, the event seeks to enhance understanding, promote resilience, and develop effective interventions that support healthy growth and mental wellbeing in children and youth, ultimate-ly strengthening the collective effort to address emerging mental health challeng-es in this vulnerable population.
