Medathlon is an inter-school competitive event, organized annually, by the American Mission Hospital, for the schools in Bahrain.

It is an initiative of our hospital to promote Health Awareness and Scientific Knowledge among school children.

Medathlon 2023 will be held on the following days

• Tue, 28 November (Preliminaries) - Fellowship Hall, NEC (National Evangelical Church), 8 am - 2 pm
• Wed, 29 November (Preliminaries) - Fellowship Hall, NEC (National Evangelical Church), 8 am - 2 pm
• Fri, 1 December (Grand Finale) - King Hamad American Mission Hospital Auditorium, A'Ali, 4:00 pm - 8:30pm

2023 Theme : 
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Healthcare 

1. Competitions are open for students of Grade 9 and upwards. 

2. The 'debate competition' is only for teachers.

3. Attractive prizes are awarded to the winners.

4. The school scoring maximum points gets the prestigious "AMH HEALTH IS WEALTH " trophy  (Click here for previous winners)

5. The Preliminaries : 28 November (Tue) and 29 November (Wed) at Fellowship Hall, NEC, starting at 8:00 am. Check 'events schedule' for timeline of events.

6. The Grand Finale : 1 December 2023 (Fri), at King Hamad American Mission Hospital Auditorium, A'Ali, starting at 4:00 pm.

7. Participation in the competitions is only through official representation of teams, from schools.

8. All Schools in Bahrain are invited, and all are welcome to participate.

9. School authorities can contact our team if you have not recieved any invitation, but wish to participate.
