The Department of Chaplaincy of the American Mission Hospital serves the people of Bahrain in the Spirit of Christ who went about doing good to all who came to him. We believe that the Creator of the universe shows the bright glory of his presence in acts of mercy and enduring love; and raises the spirits of the downcast and restores those who have fallen away through the presence of caring servants who care for others. This is the mission of all the staff of the American Mission Hospital.
Our inspiration is Jesus who “…went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd…had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by impure spirits were cured, and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.” (Luke 6:17-19)
The Chaplain, Rev. Keith Krebs gives leadership at the morning devotions and incorporates members of the staff to share in this ministry. He is also available for consultation.
