AMH has been severely limited in its ability to modernize through its aging infrastructure, lack of space, parking and range of services provided.
We have been fortunate that despite the aging infrastructure, these systems have been robust enough to provide safe and high quality care to our patients.
We were the first hospital in Bahrain to be accredited by the Australian Council of International Hospital Standards in 2006 and this was reconfirmed in 2010.
Great care is taken in the hiring, training and retention of staff at AMH. Some of the new specialties being added are, plastic surgery, urology, neurology, specialized orthopedics and others.
The internal operating environment is being radically overhauled to meet the exacting demands of tomorrow’s healthcare. The reliability of our systems in which patients receive care is being constantly tested too.
