American Mission Hospital

The Hospital Information System (HIS) currently used by the hospital is MedTrak, with its electronic medical record, from which doctors enter their orders, document their care, and view lab and x-ray results.

We would like to upgrade to a newer and more comprehensive HIS that will provide a number of additional benefits to help improve the medical care to our patients as well as improve our efficiency.

The hospital also has a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) to better serve our x-ray department as they diagnose patients' maladies, improving the quality and availability of medical images.

The HIS Department also supports improvements in our operations by implementing other programs whether purchased, free / open source, or created in-house.
