Cecilia Makiwarre Hospital

St Isabel Hospital
Personal Introduction:
When I qualified in
diagnostic radiology, it was black and white, but with the
technological advances in radiology like CT scan and ultrasound
scan, has made my profession more colorful. Every job of mine gave
me more insight into this field of medicine. At Kilpauk Medical
College I received interesting x-ray collections of very rare
cases. The job at Kasturba Medical College and Fr. Muller’s
hospital at Mangalore made me to handle radiology departments in an
independent manner. Mangalore Neurological Research Institute gave
me inside knowledge into cross sectional anatomy. My position
Umtata General Hospital Transkei
and Cecilia Makiwarre Hospital at Ciskei, South Africa exposed me to
ultrasound technologies which we learnt by ourselves in the year
1982.
12 years of attachment to St.
Isabel Hospital and subsequent private practice in the neighborhood
gave me very good exposure to obstetric ultrasound practice. I am
very happy with my present position at American Mission Hospital and
my wife and two children are also very happy to be in Bahrain. For
day one of our arrival in Bahrain we are well settled into this
hospital and country. I am a consumer activist and a sportive
personality. Being a Capricorn by birth, I don’t easily give up.
