American Mission Hospital (AMH) has provided modern medical services to the residents of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf for more than 100 years.
AMH supports the training and education of many young Bahrainis in health care fields. More than 40% of the hospital's work force are Bahraini therefore providing much needed full-time career employment for the local population.
Over the past ten years, the hospital has instituted 24-hour urgent care services, more than doubled the capacity of the clinics and has introduced new services like dentistry, dermatology, orthopedic and ear, nose and throat surgery. |

The American Mission Hospital is located in the heart of Manama,
Bahrain on Shaikh Isa Al Kabeer Avenue.
The road will curve to the right and then back to the left as you pass through two lights.
Just beyond the second light, pass under the AMH Pedestrian bridge and you will find the hospital on the left.
Patient parking is available both in front and in back of the building.

a nonprofit healthcare provider, AMH continues in the unique role
of providing free health care programs to patients in the community.
Health education lectures are held on subjects such as diabetes,
maternal health and parenting on a regular basis.
To
approach the hospital from city center, go to the roundabout on
Government Avenue that lies in between the Sheraton Tower and the
Bahrain Tower which has the Yellow Pages advertisement on top.
