Awards ceremony closes Island Classic 2006

The winning golf teams from the AAB-AMH Island Classic charity golf tournament, an event held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, received their prizes at a special event held at Bahrain International Circuit.

The traditional 19^th Hole Party and Final Awards Ceremony is held for golfers and the volunteers who helped organize the event.

Following this, gifts provided by local companies as part of their support for American Mission Hospital were presented to the winning golfers in Sakhir Tower.

The golf tournament took place at His Majesty’s Private Golf Course in Saffriya on 17^th, 18^th and 19^th November with 51 teams participating.

In the Championship flight, the first second and third place winners were in order, Riffa Views 1, Riffa Views 2 and Interglobal Insurance 2.

In the Premiership flight, the first, second and third place winners were, in order, Fortune Promoseven, Taib Bank 2 and AXA Insurance.
