"Investcorp has had a fantastic tournament this year. We are always excited about playing in the Island Classic. It is always a pleasure to play on His Majesty's golf course. To select a team for this year's event we have taken care to blend players of differing ability and also to invite key business relations. Our Sponsor tent was situated in a wonderful position on the golf course and all the guests of Investcorp thoroughly enjoyed their time playing golf, spectating, and just being part of the days events." commented Tom Kennedy, Personnel and Administration Manager, Investcorp, Island Classic Diamond Sponsor.
"We have a had a very successful tournament and we are pleased that our Sponsor Teams have enjoyed the Island Classic. The Island Classic aims to raise funds to buy necessary and much needed equipment for American Mission Hospital and we are hopeful that we will meet our fundraising target at the end of this years tournament."
"It gave me great pleasure to give out the awards today, during the Closing Ceremony to have the opportunity to thank HM Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain for his generosity in allowing the golf tournament to take place on his private golf course. On behalf of the Board Members of American Mission Hospital, I again thank all the Sponsors and everyone who contributed to make the golf tournament another success" said Dr. Armerding.
"We are thankful to the Island Classic and their sponsors for offering the opportunity for Bahraini Nationals to play in the Island Classic. Bahrain has some excellent young golfers and an event of this caliber gives our young athletes and National team golfers the chance to gain experience playing with the best golfers the region has to offer. It is always pleasurable to have the chance to play on the private golf course of HM Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This course is a nine-hole, par-32 course maintained to the very best standards and gives our young golfers from the Junior team and the National team practice on a different course." Stated Colonel Khalifa Al Fadala, Vice President of the Bahrain Golf Club.
A representative from The King's Court, VVIP's, Sponsors and Guests attended the Closing Ceremony.
The four day AAB-AMH Island Classic Charity Golf Tournament will be hosting a 19th Hole party at the Bapco Club, Awali for all volunteers who have helped at this years Island Classic.

help at the four-day Island Classic. We have seen representation from
many different sections of the community of Bahrain. We have had over
150 volunteers from the general public and the US Navy helping over the
four days with some shifts starting as early as 6am. Our volunteers have
